Chiral Magnetism: Coupling Static and Dynamic Chirality

The synthesis, structure, magnetic properties and structure of two molecular chiral magnets one inorganic magnet are presented. In crystals belonging to the Sohncke group, which includes non-collinear spin is achieved through Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya interactions in addition usual exchange dipole-dipole interactions. Experimentally, a helical (CHM) observed as ground state most this category uniaxial structure. CHM transforms into soliton (CS) field. forms lattice (CSL) when nearest neighbor interaction ferromagnetic. Since CSL structures topologically protected, they not affected by defects therefore extremely stable.
